The Kahikatea Team Assembly

The kahikatea team did an Assembly and I learnt it in 3 or 2 weeks or more because I was new to the school, and I got the hang of it. We did the actions and singing with the song that we did. ENJOY!!!!!!!:]

Popper John fought in World War 2.. He did it because he would fight for us, and when he rises the poppies rise when he died. He did it because he want us to be safe. That is why he did it. When he died the poppies rose up like one is another that would come up till, it  is a one of a kind.

They can not do things like they can't see  there kids, but if they came home alive, they would be able to have yummy food that we have now, and can't have family time. :]

My group and I watched the squelchy meat slop onto the white tortilla.This was my group Isabella, Helena, Max, Finn, Braxstyn and me.We went to the staff room and cooked it there because we got though and we had a little help from Asarina. This is what we put on the meat wraps meat, carrots, lettuce, caw slaw, mayonnaise, cheese. We had so much fun!!!

The white mares of the moon rush along the sky 

Beating their golden hoofs upon the glass Heavens 

The white mares are all standing on their hind legs 

Pawing at the green porcelain doors of the remote Heavens 

Fly, mares!

Strain your utmost 

Scatter the milky dust of star

Or the tigers will leap upon you and destroy you

With one lick of his vermillion tongue

The bumpy ride!

One day we dashed to Yahpoon in Aussie and went to the beach, and Uncle Les got his boat and we rushed off. The boat pumped and humped like a camel's bumpy humps to start off with. Booming
off the engine roughly settles. A big bump had just
 as we got settled, it was like we were booming into out space. We went to somewhere with no more bumps, until... we all blasted out of our chairs. We were terrified. We did not like that at all!:]

I had my learning conference and I said my mihi. I had a little help from Mrs Strathern.
We did my learning conference slide and we talked about how I can move up to a better level for me.
 I talked about things that I am not understanding. 
I showed my Mum  my writing frame, my art and my books.

All About Me

I am 9 years old. I am new in Room 9. I like lasagna and I love puppies and kittens. I do cheer leading. My favorite thing to do is make huts, to play teachers and to play with my friends. My friends are Ella T, Ella D, Georgia, Isabella, Helena and Reese. I like reading the 65 Story Tree House by Andy Griffiths. I quite like art and I like making sweet things with my family.
