Year 5/6 Camp 2017
Kayaking:
Kayaking was our first rotation I have been Kayaking at Raglan with Ella and In Australia. We headed out and starting to know how to paddling properly. Flynn keep trying to push me over but i had control of the kayak.We had a race came 5th in the race and Ella came third which I was glad for her.
The next activity of the first day was Rock-climbing I love rock climbing I got to the bell the first time but when it was time to go down he started running forwards and for me I went straight down so fast it felt look it took 1 second. the man was very kind and let us have another turn this time I told the man not to fast when I went down which it wasn't that fast as the first time. Ella and Rock climbing does not go together very well so i encouraged her for the first time she even went another time.
Scavenger hunt:
The second rotation was scavenger hunt all we had to do was split up in groups of 2 we all had to find i thing each in a group Ella and I found a toi toi.
Raft building:
In Raft building the team got 10 people on one raft and we got the highest record so we were glad for that. it was really fun and the end Ella and I tried jumping in the lake but we didn't because it was freezing and it was time to go.
Slug Gun shooting:
This rotation I already knew, how to to do and how to load it so the teacher said I guess you don't need help. I also helped Ella on how to load the gun and open and close the gun.
Orienteering:
Orienteering was fun to know how to use a compass. I have tried to use a compass but it didn't go that well in the bush.
Mud Run:
At the start I did not want to do the mud run but Ella pushed me to do it And I did it and I loved it Thank you Ella for making me do it. It was an awesome experience.

Before going Home we went to the pools they were fun.
