In math this week I have be enjoying doing a new way to work out high numbers for time tables also been doing graphs. In F.I.O I had to do statistics .

In reading I have enjoyed doing the 50 book challenge and I have already done 4 books in the challenge they were...

In writing this week i have enjoyed doing research on my speech and doing handwriting like always. My choice is Child Abuse and I think I made the right choice on doing child abuse.

Math...

This week in math we have been learning to 360 turns and 90 turns as well as the time for example  

if the teacher said " draw quarter past 2..."

we would draw a clock and the exact time and 

then stand up and do a quarter turn in the air

Reading...
In Reading this week I have been enjoying reading "The Marvels" by Brian Selznick and now I have finished it so I get to put in the 50 book challenge that we have 2 terms to finish 50 books. I wanted to go to the library on Thursday but I have to go today at lunch.

In writing this week I enjoy reseaching for speeches and handwriting at home 

Integrity Games

Integrity Games🍩😜

The Integrity games went good, Flynn, Fynn and Marcus was our buddies. It was okay with them but they were not organized for the day at all, their game was that there was two hula hoops and there was five people in a line and you had to look down and then look up at someone and if there was the same person who was looking at you and that was the same person that you were looking at then you would run to the hula hoops on the ground. Ella and I had a great time organizing our game for the Integrity game and we think we went good and that they like our game

Math:

In math this week I have been enjoying doing the time table gird because I know most of my time tables and I have been getting 100% on Wednesday and Thursday.I have also been enjoying doing a different way to figure out your times table that impossible like your one hundreds and forty's.

Reading:

In Reading I have enjoying reading "wonder struck". I enjoy going to the library but I find it hard to find the right book and I like doing book talk because I get to get some ideas and next time I go to the library I could get something like that book.

Writing:

I enjoyed publishing my first writing piece and I enjoyed talk to my mum and dad for my learning conference and talking to Mr Gemmell about my learning. 

Inquiry:
We went on the walk to the readout at pirongia and I enjoyed going there to film all about the treaty of waitangi.

My Reflection

Math: I enjoy doing doubles and halves and I like doing"groups of" game for the first time. I have learnt my 6 and 4 time tables. i have passed my 10, 5, 9 and 2 time tables. 


Reading: I have liked doing sentences in our reading group book and we all liked that we won for the impressing, colorful book of the class. I have enjoyed reading "wonder" and "Twist of gold" 

Writing: I liked when we did when we did similes and metaphors in our book with the funny pictures. 

Inquiry: I enjoyed when Ella and I did the Integrity game at the backfield and we were to share our Integrity game. 

Spelling: I was so close to being 100% of my spelling word and i was practicing my words.

Hello my name is Mackenzie, it is 2017 and this Year I am a year 6 and I am in the best class Room 8!!! I am going to tell you all about me!!! My favorite subject is writing, reading and Swimming.  Maths...

In Math this week  have been enjoying learning a new game Yahtzee and what is Place Value and working on F.T.O and playing RISK. this week I have won a sliver Medal and I have been working on my 7 and 8 time table. 

Reading...
I have been enjoying reading Michael Morpurgos books 📖 and I have only just started reading his books. I like reading with the teacher beacuse I like learning new books to find out new stuff in them. 

Writing...
In writing this week I have been learning about similes and metaphors and we had to do it with our writing buddy (my buddy was Lewis) and we came up with a few similes and one sentence with metaphors in it. 😃

Inquiry...
We have learnt Rhythm, Dynamics, Tempo, Pitch and Timbre in music and we have also had to make up a little kids game and it has to be for ten Minutes and I am doing it with Ella.

 On Monday that was when I had my leaning Conference and I thought it was OK .... and it was fine when the teacher was saying very good on my goals and i liked that part and when I showed my art to my mum.

Science

  Science:

When we have rotation when we go to Mrs Strathern we do inquiry and we had to get our materials we made a plan we started to make our models 3D ones and so I got my materials and I  started to make mine and my question was what is the difference between shooting stars, comets and meteors and when we finished our project we were going to go to the hall one night and that night was Monday so we had it and had a very good night and heaps of fun and some parents have a blast :]!!!!!
