My Reflection

Maths...

In Math this week have been enjoying learning a new game Yahtzee and what is Place Value and working on F.T.O and playing RISK. this week I have won a sliver Medal and I have been working on my 7 and 8 time table.

Reading...
I have been enjoying reading Michael Morpurgos books 📖 and I have only just started reading his books. I like reading with the teacher beacuse I like learning new books to find out new stuff in them.

Writing...
In writing this week I have been learning about similes and metaphors and we had to do it with our writing buddy (my buddy was Lewis) and we came up with a few similes and one sentence with metaphors in it. 😃

Inquiry...
We have learnt Rhythm, Dynamics, Tempo, Pitch and Timbre in music and we have also had to make up a little kids game and it has to be for ten Minutes and I am doing it with Ella.

On Monday that was when I had my leaning Conference and I thought it was OK .... and it was fine when the teacher was saying very good on my goals and i liked that part and when I showed my art to my mum.

Science

Science:

When we have rotation when we go to Mrs Strathern we do inquiry and we had to get our materials we made a plan we started to make our models 3D ones and so I got my materials and I started to make mine and my question was what is the difference between shooting stars, comets and meteors and when we finished our project we were going to go to the hall one night and that night was Monday so we had it and had a very good night and heaps of fun and some parents have a blast :]!!!!!

Enviro

Enviro!!!

On the first enviro day we went with room 5 and learnt how to save water and we went around the school and see what we can catch the water and in my group was Ella D and Paige and me and we thought we could catch the water in a tank and lots of people thought to do that idea but we have to think about to save money as well but the next enviro day was weeding around the school and learnt what kind of plant is what and we dehydrated herbs and then on our next enviro we looked back at how to save water and a lady came in and talked about how to save water and the lady said someone to come up and stand on one foot and hold a timer that was 4 minuets and he did stay there for 4 minuets.

The Kahikatea Team Assembly

The kahikatea team did an Assembly and I learnt it in 3 or 2 weeks or more because I was new to the school, and I got the hang of it. We did the actions and singing with the song that we did. ENJOY!!!!!!!:]

A.N.Z.A.C

Popper John fought in World War 2.. He did it because he would fight for us, and when he rises the poppies rise when he died. He did it because he want us to be safe. That is why he did it. When he died the poppies rose up like one is another that would come up till, it is a one of a kind.

They can not do things like they can't see there kids, but if they came home alive, they would be able to have yummy food that we have now, and can't have family time. :]

Masterchef

My group and I watched the squelchy meat slop onto the white tortilla.This was my group Isabella, Helena, Max, Finn, Braxstyn and me.We went to the staff room and cooked it there because we got though and we had a little help from Asarina. This is what we put on the meat wraps meat, carrots, lettuce, caw slaw, mayonnaise, cheese. We had so much fun!!!
